Personal Collection.

Peter Lovig Nielsen fliptop desk in Rosewood.
An absolutely stunning desk from one of the masters.

Don Furniture 3 Piece Lounge Suite.
From the iconic New Zealand manufacturer of the 60's & 70's, this set is among their rarer designs.  Superbly simple lines, quality materials and construction make this one of my favorite pieces from them.  I have taken liberty with the piece as I did not replace the fabric covers over the solid Kauri arm rests, or mahogany stain the Kauri back.  Perhaps this reflects the changing idea of the aesthetic value of our native woods today compared to those at the time.  As these sets become rarer still in the coming decades I dare say that reintroducing the padded fabric armrest and retreating the back to be completely faithful to the original design may happen.

Fler Daybed/Couch
This is a stunning light Oak daybed couch by “Fler” under licensed to Broadhead brothers Ltd. A rare piece from these masters of design. Hand finished & resealed with oil.  The arms are beautifully shaped and contain delicate design details that attests to its caliber.   Too many afternoon snoozes have been taken...

Fler SC55 Rocket Armchairs
AWAITING RESTORATION : Cant wait to get started on these.

Backhouse Coffee Table
Love my large Backhouse table.  At 1.5m long it is a quiet but sleek & solid presence in my everyday.

Blackwood wingback rocking chair
My everyday friend.  No idea who made this although I'm guessing he's Australian.  I fell in love with the button detail that highlights the shaping of the wing back.  The black wood frame supports the seat on a steel spring bar which allows just enough rocking motion to ease a sore post kitesurf back.
